I picked up a 04 GTP that has the Monsoon system. Seems the previous owner was having problems with the factory installed CD unit and had a JVC unit installed. Now for the fun part....they told me that the shop that installed the JVC had a hell of a time getting the steering wheel controls to work. They installed a PAC interface and were able to program the steering wheel controls. Previous owner picked up the car and drove it home but when they tried to use the steering wheel controls the next day everything was out of sync. They took it back and the shop went through the programming again, released the car back to the owner and it was working fine...until the next day when it was once again out of sync. Should mention that the shop that installed the new sound system is not a car audio for a living shop. So now I own the car and I guess you could say, inherited the stereo problem. Anyone run into a similar interface problem or have any suggestions. System works fine if you don't use the steering wheel audio controls....lol
