I sold my cd changer (weight reduction!!!) and am now looking at my options. Currently using a cassette adapter and want a different method. Might go for a new head unit, but if I can splice in an AUX where my cd changer was, it would save me the hassle of removing my dash (which was actually pretty easy in my 98 Buick century) and buying the HU/ steering wheel adapter/install kit etc etc.

    Anyone have any ideas?

This is good, but will I be able to plug/splice this into the harness in the trunk to avoid removing my dash? As opposed to the back of the stock unit?

If I have to take out my dash I'm just going to buy an aftermarket unit.

I looked over the PDF pretty good, and read up on these devices. It seems as though the cd changer must be present to activate the device so it won't work for me.

Prolly gonna go aftermarket double din.

Oh yeah, didn't see that part. But yes, it would need to be connected behind the radio.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.
