Since I'm upgrading to blue HIDs on my headlights and fog lights, and installing a new radio that has a primarily blue background on the screen, I was wondering if it is possible to change the dash lights from red to blue. at first I thought it wouldn't work but I'm guessing it's the actual bulbs that are blue and not just the parts that let the light through. any suggestions on how to go about it or if it's not worth the hassle?

I just got an overlay for the gauge cluster and replaced the DIC bulbs with blue LED's.
Here's a writeup for the DIC:

would that be the same for my 05? cause i would definitely do that too, I didn't even think about the overlay that's a perfect fix but my only other things would be the climate control nobs and the door panel switches. I would prefer to get rid of all the red light from my car, was nice as stock but its all changing so I personally don't like having some blue and some red, thanks for the write up too I had forgotten about the DIC.

I decided to go with red lights on the inside instead of doing blue because it would be easier to replace just the cab lighting instead of ripping out the dash. Now my only predicament is i dont want to do it all red because you cant see that well with red LEDs, they look cool but can see much. So i was going to do the white LEDs up top and do the courtesy lights in red. I'm just worried it may look to christmasy (i know couldn't think of another word for it) or to strange with my headlights being blue and then white and red interior lights. what do you guys think i should do that would look right with red lights, not too worried about how it looks with exterior lights, but I don't want it too look strange.
