yeah they only go off when the amperage draw is too great for the fuse, so a 20a fuse will get too hot at anything above 20a and melt, happens so fast thats why it "blows"
but allowing too much amperage to flow, for example if its rated for 10a and gets 15a it will damage the item.

im saying the gauge needs only 10a. says in the instructions, dont go over 10a

i switched it over to the mall pgm fuse and didnt change a thing, still have to tap or flick the gauge for it to eventually come on, any other ideas?

so no warranty is left on the gauge, the original owner of the gauge also thinks the gauge is the first gen
also the gauge was bought from aeroforce, so i will also contact them, to see what there opinion is on the issue
