Thread: need some help with 06 gp gxp with monsoon system

i have and o6 gp gxp with the monsoon system and nav change the door speaker to kenwoods and the rear deck speakers to polk audio 690s
and know it sound even worst i have since add a 13in rockford sub with amp to mask the horrable sound coming from the other speakers.
what would i need to do to get better sound ? a local high in radio shop told me that i need to get a new hu or add a sound processor.
my question is what make a monsoon system the hu or the stock amp? what signals or coming from the hu to the amp. could i just bypass the monsoon amp
all together and wire the hu to a 4 channel amp or something? i what all speakers working right doors center and rear deck. please can i get some help varloc01@gmail.com

so you are telling me that all i have to do replace the amp and run new speaker wires and i still will be able to use the stock hu with no problem and still have function of on star.
