I searched around and I don't have a solid answer for removing this. I would like some advice on how to remove this thing. It's the fugliest thing. How do I go about taking it off the glass without shattering it to pieces. Is it worth removing? I read that it's just stuck to the glass. Could you confirm this?

BTW, Is this piece missing something, or is that how they look?

Its just stuck to the glass with some 3M double side. Is there a piece stuck to the inside of the glass? Just heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun and gently pry it up, just like you'd do with a badge.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

    No more radio?

This was getting talked about on ClubGP. I was wanting to remove it also because it's ugly. I was thinking about trying to put a fin style one on the top rear of the roof.

I fixed it. I took it off, like everyone said it's just stuck on there. Took some goo gone to the final little pieces of sticky residue on the window. Wow, what a difference. It's gone! I'm not concerned with the piece under the glass (inside), can't really see it.

You were missing the antenna piece. I will have to convince my brother to remove his. It's an eyesore.

Thats just a cell phone signal booster. Its pretty obsolete with all the cell towers around these days. The radio antenna is built into the rear windshield.

No this won't hurt anything... it's just on the outside of the glass. I left the onstar wire alone on the inside because of the radio antenna that is built into the glass, I didn't want to mess that up. Can't see it anyways. You might want to heat it up some before removing it so it's easier to pull off. I didn't with mine, just was real careful with the glass.
