I'm debating on putting a on/off switch on the remote wire for my sub amp when I get my new headunit so I can turn off my subs when I'm not in the mood for lots of bass. Anyone know of a good place and good type of switch? I was thinking next to the heated seat switch or in center console.

Get a headunit with subwoofer controls built in and you can turn the subs down with it. No need for an on off switch.

Meh, I hate messing with HU menus while I'm driving, so a switch is a must for me just so it takes a spit second. It prob helps to mention my car is an 02 Grand Prix GT 2DR.

I put one in the right cubby hole next to steering column, I put it on the top so no one can actually see it. I put in 2 actually to turn off/on my Humount light also... My switches are the round ones that have a little light on and bezel - Radio Shack...

Those little cubby holes are nice for that kind of stuff.
