So since i was lucky enough to get a gauge pod. Now im on the hunt for some gauges to get, brands, colors, ect
Its a 2 gauge pod, so i have to pick two. At first i was thinking Volts and Oil Pressure. But since i have no real use for an oil pressure gauge and i dont have a digital dic, I was thinking i could get one that read mpg but it has to be as close to 100% as possible
    I found this
Amazon.com: Auto Meter 9100 ECO Meter: Automotive
not sure tho any body have any thoughts?

Oil pressure gauge is a good thing to have, saved me an engine once (shop forgot to put the drain plug back in, car started with 0 pressure)

    Volt meter is fairly useless..

Never seen an MPG gauge except in those U-hauls, and god only knows how those things work (though I do think it'd be neat to run)

IMO, run an Aeroforce Interceptor, and a Wideband O2

Unless it's not an internal combustion engine..I mean a steam powered car wouldn't have much use for an oil pressure gauge.

What does oil pressure tell you?

If you lose it, you're ****ed and the guage wont help you prevent an engine damaging scenario.

your not ****ed if you start your car for a second or 2 with no oil, oil pressure goes up right away from a start up. way more useful then a volts gauge IMO

if i was modding or modded id get an aeroforce, wideband, and oil pressure but since im not those would be pointless. I'd like to have an volt gauge cause i got lots of **** run though that thing and itd be nice to have so i know whats going on and itd be actually useful, same with the mpg one, since i dont have anything telling me what it is at all that one would be nice to have also and be useful at the same time

don't you have a driver information center that tells you range, mpg, oil life and gallons used or SE doesn't have that?

An engine can idle with minimal to no oil pressure for quite some time. Having a gauge at start up is a good thing.
