I have a replacement rearview mirror, problem is I can't see where the other one was located, because when it fell off it took the tab with it, so any exact measurements of the placement of the tab for the rearview mirror to mount on?

Why not just measure from one side of windshield to the other, Divide in half. Theres your center mark. Then place it 3 or 4 inches down from the roof line...it doesnt have to be any exact distance up or down. Heck it can be a little off center too and you'd never know.

Use where the center of the overhead console or roof meet the AS1 line on the windshield. The base of the mount should be on or slightly above that point if you want it to be close to factory specs.

Honestly, I would just put it wherever you feel provides you the best view, even if it ends up off center.
