    alright, yes i did search but didn't find anything on this..I have an 03 GTP with onstar and I want to remove it from my trunk, I'm sure someone here has done it I just cant find the info..is it as simple as unplugging it? or will unplugging it effect other things?

    thats it?
    I know that when I replaced the HU in the bose system it was a pain in the ass because of the onstar, I wasn't sure if I just unplugged I would **** something up or not...thanks!!

    our system was analog so it couldn't do much.

    Mine has been gone for 2-3 years. Just unplug and throw.

    Is that the black plastic thing on the left side of the trunk in the 01's? Removing the ugly onstar antenna was one of the first things I did when I brought the car home.

    Any effect on the lights on the rear view?
