I just don't get it. Whats the big deal about having huge speakers in your trunk that are'nt needed to produce great sounding music? Most just rattle the hell out of junk and sound horrible compaired to a real sound system anyways.

    Pioneer DEH-690ub Head Unit
    Stock Bose Speakers
    4x Rockford P2 SVC 4-ohm
Kenwood Mono block amp running at 1-ohm...

My amp tends to overheat if its loud for too long but that's minor. I must say its been doing great at surviving this long. (just over a year)

so for my birthday i got a Phoenix Gold 500wt amp, Eclipse cd/usb 3200 receiver, Ipod adapter, 2 Planet Audio 6x9's and 2 Planet Audio 5.25's. I already have 2 punch 12's mounted in a box from my old car. I think i'm gonna need a new amp for them.

i'll post pics when its installed.
    My car doesn't leak oil,
    It marks it's territory.

Nice. Which series of Punch? I got P2's and they can't handle that much power but put out lots of sound... mind you I do have 4 of them
