very nice solid equipment, I also like the trim panel with the pontiac logo on it.
I should be posting up trim panel for the trunk write up, maybe you can use that to cover that black up.

yep, that was me talking about yours. When I was looking for new ideas on my fiberglass box I am building, I searched google and the crutchfield link for your car was like 3rd down on the list. Needless to say I made myself familiar w/ it.
Oh? Well, thanks! Sad thing is, I used to threaten to upgrade this and that, but I haven't found a combo that I like better yet. Same as I once threatened to trade the car in. Not happening...
Thanks again, very much.
hm...no pics yet but I have the XO vision 4.3" in dash dvd player with 2 400w kicker amps pushing 2 12" kicker L7 subs. with I/O switch for my outside PH speaker...have to get u guys some pic's..
i had 2 12 in memphis...in my gtp but i returned for the digital dynamics 10's...10's to me jus sound better in the trunk of a grand prix than 12's did they took up way too much space so there was no way for bass to escape , with the box i got now where it sits in pics goes under my tower braces the 12's butted against the tower braces and were about 2 inches from rear of trunk
hm? must be an older GP model cause my two kicker 12's sit just rite and I still have PLENTLY of space....amazing trunk in the 04+ model....or maybe u just had a nice box =P
My 2 12's fit fine in my truck and slide all the way to the seats, I don't have a tower brace though so I can see where that could be a problem. I have plenty of space for luggage or bigger things.
its an 02gpgtp the box i had was made by memphis and was massive.i am by no means knockin on 12's a good setup will produce amazing sound.but my 10's sound as good if not better than some 12's i have seen.nobody really knows anything about digital dynamics...i didnt til i went to the stereo shop i use.they had jus gottem them in that day...needless to say i was very impressed
yep, the audio equipment in your car is some of the most sought after equipment in car audio. It is no wonder why you like it so well! haha
I have been tryin to find the old paper cone hx2 punch or power series subs forever.
I know when I had to replace one of the kickpanel sets (when a passenger unwittingly put a foot through the primary), it was a pain finding them. Not even through some of my MECA contacts. I got lucky and found a match from a dude in NY on ebay by using the exact model #. I ended up swapping out both sides just to be on the safe side. You might try that route. Good luck!
hey mlambert where did you get those kick panel enclosures
Those are the Q-logic kick panels from Crutchfield. Requires a little sawing with a hacksaw, and you may lose the use of your e-brake. Mine on the driver's side sits right below the e-brake, so you can push on it enough to engage and tech in, but I have never had to use it in an emergency. That could be a bad thing.
Wherever you order from, make sure you give them the correct color code from your VIN. I guessed on the color and got a shade too light the first time around.
