we tore out the old wall and built a shell so we can switch the baffle . the shell is alittle more than 28 cubes.

we are trying out a 4th order with 2 DC lvl 5 18s, 5 cubes sealed, 23 cubes ported.

still a little ruff but it is coming along nicely.

    shell is strong...period.
lots of welding involved to create the angles we needed

lots of testing, changing port, rounding, smoothing, bondo still to go!

Would u rather have a sub that looks good but leaves you wanting more or a speaker than looks decent and tickles your pickle every time you turn it up.

The kicker set up was in the GP when I bought it so I figured why not keep it.It does work very well. In my taurus I have an mtx 10inch jackhammer w/custom box and a rockford amp w/1.5 farhad cap. That system hurts my insides when i sit in the car. It does a little more than tickle my pickle. When I scrap the taurus I'm gonna do a transplant to the GP,but i'm gonna keep the kickers in too.

Wow just like every other forum out there. You get laughed at for having actual good quality **** in your car. Or you get *****ed at for not finding the search function and happen to ask an honest question. If you don't like my **** leave me the @#$$/ alone. Better yet delete my ****ing profile. I don't need to be laughed at by anyone.

Yeah busting your balls about your maintstreN audio. But for realz if you do research you should get rid of the cap. Your using an electrical bandaid to try n solve your voltage drop.

I just bought my 2004 gtp comp g a week and a half ago, I haven't done a any work on the engine yet... I wanted it to look right before anything. So on Saturday I installed a 7'' jvc in dash cd/did player (detachable face), ran all new power wire, ground wire to the new 1200 X 1 kicker amp running 2, 12'' kicker comp car's. So everything got finished and by the end of the weekend I convinced my self That it wasn't loud enough, so Monday afternoon I was browsing Craigslist & what do I find???? 2, 12'' jlw3v2 4 ohm subs in a box... bought them went right to my stereo guy & bought 1 more!!!! I'm picking up the custom made enclosure Thursday.... It is going to Bang!!! I also got the windows tinted with 17 percent viper tint, had a 2 way alarm installed with the remote start. Just have to get the 2 TV's in the headrests & some rims.. If anyone is interested I will put some pics up by the beginning of the weekend. She is pretty sick..
