I am gonna switch out the factory headunit and dont feel like spending the $50 for the adapter to use the steering wheel buttons, does anybody know if they make a delete kit, like plugs or what not to take place of the button clusters.

Fire. Gasoline and a lighter usually work.

Look in the salvage yard, there were a few styles with no buttons I believe.

I bought an axxess adapter for 30 bucks, thought it was a good deal when I put it in. Now.... volume randomly goes up 1 or 2 notches at a time..

Bought the module cheap and have the use of my aftermarket radio without any problems. This is the way to go!

Highly unlikely I was in your boat to as I like to find the cheapest way of doing... well just about everything. BUT I broke down and bought it from amazon I did buy it from ebay but after two weeks I didn't receive it and got a refund so don't buy them from seller autoware302on ebay... scammers... GM12-Auxv2 PIE is the model you need well for my 06 GP at least. ANYWAYS its worth it ... simple clean install and you keep steering wheel functionality worth it in my opinion. I modded mine... drilled a whole in my cubby under the climate control and fit a 3.5mm aux cable through it so now when I need it i just pull it out and when I dont i just put it back in.
