so i bought a spare DIC for my 98 gtp, so i could try and convert it to blue leds, like ther est of my interior lights. the spare i found was out of a 99 gt, which i heard would work but wouldnt show boost, etc. well i got it plugged in, and it does show boost, everything functions as it should, Perf. shift is located there now instead of my gauge cluster as well. The only thing i noticed is when the cars started, the "Trac off" light is illuminated but the TC system is on. When i push the button the light goes out, but TC is shut off. its like the TCS Off button is reversed. anyone got any ideas?

Generally, you don't mix match gtp and gt dics. 98-03 is fine to use, 97 is different

only reason i bought it originally was to try the blue leds in it, that way if i screwed it up i wouldnt ruin mine, but when i hooked it up n it showed boost, and moved my perf. shift to it, i kept it. If the only downfall is my tcs off light being on then so be it i guess lol

Read somewhere that the way the GTP and GTs traction works, that the modules read it differently.

in the process of it, main reason i kept this one is because it has "performance shift" located on it rather that on my gauge cluster which i prefer.
