any have problems with them leaking? anyone ever try to get replacements from the company if thats the case?

ive had mine for three months and there is bad condensation and not some spots on the inside of dirt/mold. i emailed the company but if they dont send me new ones idk if im best to open them, clean them, and reseal them, or find some liquid cleaner thjat wouldnt be bad for electronics and fill the tail and try to clean the spots that way.
just looking for other peoples experiences here... thanks

how long did you have them before you had it warrantied? and how did it work, did you have to send yours back first?

The first thing I did with my tails is seal them with silicone all around the lens to ensure no leaks. Have not had a problem in the 2 years of ownership, but I am also talking about an 06 not a 97-03 GP

I did this as well. My set are exactly like OP's and had huge gaps all around the edges. I was going to seal them up one way or another, but they seem to be poorly assembled. If I hadn't sealed mine, they would have had condensation in them after the first time it rained.

I've had my Spyders for 10 months now and no leaks. It has rained for 3 months straight too.

I've had mine since April/May or so and have yet to have any leaks in this nasty Iowa weather. Rains **** tons, snow is insane, etc etc. no sealing, just as-is.

Had mine in since June no issues no sealing. One thing i did have an issue with was the internal load resistor crapped out causing the turn to blink fast. Had to install an external load resistor. These LED tails are definitely a cool upgrade!!! Get the LED white back up bulbs as well and it really looks sharp!!

Would have been easier to swap to an electronic flasher. I want to remove the load resistors from mine. Why have LED's and still have the load on the electrical system.
