Just to help get the audio section get rockin' and rollin', I figured I would post pics of a couple of things I have built in the past weeks, and some older installs.

Also, post up what you have done audio wise! Any little thing.

the double din avic-d3 that was in my grand prix

the new alpine 9885 I have in it now, humount.com mounting kit to put in soon.

the high output alternator in my car, powder coated black with a machined face and red anodized pulley

my current system, Memphis Baby Belle 5 channel amp, stinger expert series 1.2 farad cap, 2 12" type-r's. Still have to build trim panels and clean up wiring, should be done thursday with all that though.

The "old" clarion flip-out dvd player in my grand prix.

A box with raised letters that say silverado I built for my brother's truck.

Me messing around with my first raised vinyl box. This is where I fell in love with raise lettering on boxes and trim panels.

Hope this thread blows up with some cool pics and helps the audio section grow. I am going to have a couple of write ups done soon (hopefully) on how to build your own kick panels to get better sound imaging and of course basic and easy trim panels for subs and amps.

I totally forgot about this old setup, it was a temp setup in my car to test the sweetness of sundown audio amps. I m not really proud of this it was ghetto rigged, haha, especially the cold cathodes although it was cool to have them turn on with the amps. Dang this seems like it was forever ago though.

what can I say, you really haven't seen the whole of it. It is systems in general, I just took out a 4000 watt rms system. I have so much audio equipment in my garage it aint funny. I have seriously about 20 amps in my garage. you dont want to know how many component sets I have. haha. I switch off systems every 2 months or so. Feb. is going to be an all new system to, that is when the new stuff from audio manuf. comes out.

    lol

i've been thinkin about putting somethin back in the trunk of the GP. havent had anything hooked up in it since i got the car. my old sub and amp weren't worth it

    12" Soundstream Reference w/ MTX 275x amp
    lol old school
sub's alright, just small, and the amp is toast.. something happened to it and if you hook it up, it sounds like it's playin a bass rift when there isnt any signal goin to it

I have went through a bunch of subs and my fav is the alpine type x, but it is basically a type r with a carbon fiber cone. They both sound awesome, though. My favorite amp are the memphis m-class's and the memphis belle.
