pretty simple review...don't know how i lived without remote start before! system works flawlessly. had the place that did the install have it flash my park lights only when i lock/unlock so i don't cook my ballasts.

for those of you in colder climates...it sure is nice to get into a warm car every morning.

What kind of range did you get on the system. I know theres a bunch.

I did a Viper 5901 which has a 1 mile range. From the 7th floor 1/4 mile from building to car..it works like a champ. Now if you say you have heated seats as well and you had them tie in the rear defroster..then you are stylin.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Awesome - never heard of this before. My intern recommended this to me just yesterday and I hadn't had time to research it. Was wondering about the difference between this bad boy and viper stuff. His apparently lets him know when a motorcycle rumbles by, what door is touched, if it's opened, if it gets jacked up, etc.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

lots of options with these, i can setup a turbo timer if i wanted to. even for the diesel guys you can have it autostart if the temperature drops below a certain setting to keep it from gelling up.

range is awsome bill kinda the same concept i'm about 1/4 mile away from my car and 3 stories up and starts every time. tried it at the mall a few days ago too and worked from the opposite side and one floor down.

    Yeah..that's awesome isn't it? I love it.

The Vip has turbo/diesel timers as well, you can set runtime and get cabin temp via two way as well. Another big add on with Viper is the SmartStart. Which would allow you to do all the remote functions from your smartphone. But there's a monthly charge and between the cost of the unit and the additional charge... forget that.

I was looking into those, as those are what my auto sound store carries. But I ended up going with the Viper 5901. And you will use the remote start just as much in the summer as winter, trust me lol.
