This is probably a stupid question but what it the little turn dial on the center console on an 04 and newer gtp with the up and down arrows all it does when I hit the center button is shut off my dash lights?

its for the heads up display dial cotrols brightness up down arrrows control position on windshield and you know what the center button does

Well that would explain why i couldn't figure it out my heads up display doesn't work lol

Probably does the adj spring is just broke. There's a write up to fix it

Does the window have to have a mirror or something on it I think my window has been replaced at some point in time.

A non HUD windhshield will work, its just not as clear.

Yea mine must be non HUD then I'm gonna try to look into fixing it this week
