Okay, so my sister has a 2001 Grand Prix GT

The dome light inside, near the back of the car, it was hanging down. I touched it and it was lose. I wanted to snap it back in place so I took it down.

NOW, theirs a brace behind the headliner I think it's called.

I can take that down and it snaps to the light.

I put the brace back up there, and I try to put the light back on, but you can't do it UNLESS you're pushing the brace down.

    So, what am I missing?
I can't get this back on!

I don't think their were screws. The brace snaps on to the light fixture.

Pics of your sister would really help me solve this issue for you...

My guess is that you'll need the screws as dpzelenak said.

Their were no screws. The brace isn't white, it's black.

IT's not the lens I'm talking about.

    Sorry, my iPhone wasn't focused.
The light - without the brace.

    Brace behind the headliner.

The light - with the brace attached.
Somehow, it's supposed to be like this when the brace is behind the headliner.
But you need to press the brace down, when pressing the light up. Kinda difficult to do, since the headliner is in the way.

I drive an 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT V6. I have NO knowledge in these cars. Bare with me, please.

regals lack a dome light, when you have the moon roof, witch is better than a sun roof

Yeah, it snaps in, but when I put the brace in the headliner - I can't really push down on the brace and push up on the light.

And yes, their is a sunroof. The cover is over it right now.
