    I don't. Proper grounding is what you need to get the most out of your alternator. We don't have anaemic wiring like our import counterparts. That means maximizing the contact between the wire and mounting point. You can start by soldering the wire and lead together...and I mean you get a torch out, blast the hell out of the lead and make a solder soup inside it before placing the cable inside.

    I will agree that the grounding point below the battery is pretty weak.

    does the big 3 not include 2 upgraded grounds? I did the big 3 with no other changes and headlight dimming went away along with "quicker starts". But like you said, proper grounding is what is needed

    Well from my understanding MOST people follow through with the big 3 under the impression that it helps their alternator become a bit more efficient. The truth for our vehicles is what we've stated above. Grounds are a) poorly installed or b) corroded and need some lovin'. Therefore, you don't need a big "3". You need to do a Big Ground
