Well not sure if a gran prix has every had one but I hate my antenna. My uncle gave me one from his t/a. Do you think it's possible to do this? There 3 wires that come out of antenna, I'm wondering were I might be trying to route my wires for turn on.

Do you have a factory deck? I don't know but I would assume one is the power, one is ground, and one goes to the deck to tell it to operate.

That's what I was thinking, just trying to see if it's been done. Maybe a tutorial or guide could be in the making

Do you have a factory deck? I know on most aftermarkets they have a blue wire for power antennas.

I figured it out, one wire is constant, one is ground and the other is the trigger. I'm just gonna wire it into the fuse panel for power and trigger it from the radio. Actually it was harder to remove the old one than it was to put the new one, now to find if I'm the only one in the world with a power antenna.

You don't have to cut a hole in the roof. There are spot welds along the roof. Drill them out and the roof will come off in one piece.
