Wondering if anyone has this stereo? Wondering how well it works with iPhone.

I am considering this because my needs are:

iPhone compatibility- want to be able to control from either head unit or iphone itself

    Preamp out- sub hookup

Price- this'll be in my jeep, so there's a high likelyhood of it getting stolen.

This one appears to fit my needs and my budget, just looking for feedback. I played with it at the store, and i figured out how to make it control from my phone, but could not figure out how to make the head unit take control.

You should go with the 6300-ub. It's multicolored and it has pandora support. Is about the same price I believe. It also has the USB and aux port on the front. I can say it's good because I have it in my gtp

Nah, too expensive. If I were goings more expensive route I'd go kenwood, but this pioneer's specs beat the equal kenwood

Well I went for it. Now gotta get some new speakers, looking for some 5 1/4's for the front doors and i discovered that the rear speakers have been removed (and I am assuming the wiring to them is bad) so I'm gonna throw some 6x9's in a couple small mdf boxes and leave them movable. Open to suggestions on the 6x9's, once again gotta be cheap but I need a really well balanced speaker (good all around for both music and listening in at the drive-in)

Ive got the deh-3300ub headunit and love it, i have my ipod plugged in all the time but that restricts choosing songs thru the headunit, but when ive plugged my iphone in to use pandora over the car speakers i can change songs thru the headunit or thru the phone itself, im not sure how it works with regular songs that are in the music library of an iphone. anyways the 6x9 speakers i personally have pioneer 6x9 270 watts and they're great, i plan on upgrading them only because i want a louder sound, however the 270 watts pair are plenty loud on their own and have a decent quality sound as well

Im rocking these with NO amp 2010 KENWOOD KFC-6993PS 6X9" 5-WAY SPEAKER, 500W, PAIR (019048187062) | eBay. They are Kenwood and Im really likin them in my 2000 GP GT. Many people who wrote reviews suggest an amp for them. I think i get plenty of bass from them. I noticed after i installed them that with the bass all the way up my review mirror vibrated. lol. Never did that with the stock speakers. They also make a 4 way Kenwood KFC-6983PS 6 x 9 Speaker 4 ways KFC6983P 6 x 9 (019048187086) | eBay that is very similar to this 5 way and its like $20 less for them. They probly arent bad either. If ur lookin for a ton of bass investing in subs too would help but if u dont want subs but like a little bass i feel these are the way to go. I believe that the one that is 70 you get another supertweeter or somethin but im not 100% sure bout that. Definately look at both their specs to see which will fit your needs better.
