    took about 2 hours to remove the backseat, rear deck covering, replace speakers and put it all back together, lol.

    Nice. Was like that for me the first time too. Second time though it only took me a maximum of 45 minutes.

    Just did the same in mine. They are Sony. May I ask why you're questioning it?

    What made you decide on them? My friend has them but they only sound good if you just amp them with a head unit instead of an outboard amp, otherwise they distort pretty easy.

    I've had a other Sony products and have always had really good luck with them. The speakers I have sound pretty good. I've not had a chance to set the equalizer yet, though, when I'm not driving and can really concentrate on the levels. I had a CD cranked up pretty good this morning, though, and they sounded pretty tight and they're clear. I'll make a better conclusion this weekend when I have a chance to set the EQ.

    I'm contemplating adding an amp, but hadn't planned to when I first purchased them. I was advised, though, that they should have one before the sale was final.
