Check it out. My heater controls wanted to turn the heat on everytime i hit a bump. passenger side slider pot was bad. I had a dual zone climate control out of a 02 monte carlo all the wires and switches fit up in my 02 prix with dual zone. While i was there i replaced the backlights with blue 5mm leds. Used 470 Ohm resistors to get the brightness to ~match the rest of the dash. Replaced the indicator lights with red 5mm leds also. I also had to modify the cab recirculate vac hose. ended up t-ing into the purple vac supply hose ran it over to the extra recirculate connector on the monte controls then cut the orange vac hose going into the main vac switch and ran it into the other side of the recirculate connector. If you t into the orange vac hose then the recirculate door will only close when the vents are on. If you just redirect it into the recirculate connector then the recirculate door will open and close no matter where you have the air blowing. The t fitting and splice i got from the local autoparts store. 1/8 vacuum fitting was the size but the factory vac hoses are a little thicker and more rubber than what the connectors were ment for so i had a heck of time getting a good seal so it would work. a very, very small leak will keep it from working. I have pictures, just too big to upload. if you want them, then ask.

Just a thought but I have a aftermarket head unit (POS Alpine) and with that in the dash it left maybe a mm of clearance for the monte carlo heater control between it and the ash tray. I also ended up cutting out the divider between the radio and the heater because it covered too much.
I also found out a 02 regal cab filter fits perfectly in a grand prix that has the holder for one but there are not any available...
