I am looking to install either the kenwood or the pioneer dvd units into my 04 non-monsoon vehicle. I am looking for the wire harness the will retain as much of the features as possible (hopefully dic date if possible) but if not that than atleast door chimes and the other features. I tried searching but everthing i have found is outdated or is for monsoon systems, i also do not have onstar.
    Thanks for the help

if you retain your chimes, and all that you will be sacrificing your dic function. most of it will work, but some will not. i want to say it's the gmos-01 adapter

The only way to save the date is by relocating the factory stereo to the trunk and wiring it in.

Pac-Audio.com has what you need to make the rest of your setup work.

Its this...its pretty much an extra long wire harness that keeps your factory radio plugged in. And gives you enough length to relocate it. Amazon.com: Stereo Wire Harness Pontiac Grand Prix 04 05 2005 (car radio wiring installation parts): Electronics

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.
