2002 Grand Prix with standard Delco stereo ( not Bose )
I am installing an aftermarket Kenwood - KIV-700
I have seen that there is supposed to be a "booster" lead for the antenna which is dark green, however there is nothing in the slot on the factory harness where it should be.
used diagram here - Wire Guide for your Grand Prix - Audio System

So should I assume that means I don't need to wire anything in?

Last time i wired in a radio the antenna ran off a wire separate from the actual harness. Kinda looked like a rca cable, look for one of those in there should plug right into your aftermarket deck
