Here's mine. Also mine has the tiny bulbs vs the Led's.
Looks a lot like mine... oh cause it's the exact same. :P
Okay call me dumb but are these just face plates or do they actually support the HU too?
You're dumb. Kidding lol. But yes the mount supports the radio. You have to take the front plate off the mount then you unit slides inside and the front plate goes back over.
Not trying to thread jack but does anyone remember what website sells that little mount that comes out the side like the thing in this pic? I remember finding them one time but cant seem to find it.

I also did the dimmer wire and then used the regular black wire for ground. Its nice when my headlights come on that that obviously does too. I found it pointless to have it on in daylight and if I ever do I just have to turn on my headlights.
Best part is there's no stealing the HU. U have to take the face plate of the in dash kit off which u can't get to cuz of the trim
Pro-Fit or ProClip are two of the common ones.
I think the common color is orange. It all varies on the harness u use with the HU. Sometimes it says "allumination" on the wire if its a newer harness.
Yes the harness for the HU is orange and says illumination. However, he said he ran off the dimmer switch, not the HU harness.
Thanks Bill.
I'd have to look. I don't rightly remember. I wanna say brown or grey. Give me a few days and i'll try to get back to you.
No hurry. My dash is all together and it's hooked up. I'm not taking it apart until I have to lol.
I think I can view it through the drivers access panel if not it might be awhile lol.
I think he meant dimmer switch wire. Not literal switch? I'm confused by what u mean cuz the dimmer power is supplied to the radio which supplies the HU harness so...
