I just did a set of Morel Maximos in my GTP. They are typical Morel in sound, laid back on the high end with a really smooth mid range. What was suprising was the amount of midbass they produce. So much so, that i was able to lower the x-over frequency of my subs which helped shift my soundstage up front.
Unfortunatly the price has gone since I purchased, but I would buy a set at the current price. They are that good.

Thanks, that question was directed towards Matt specifically though, not because I need advice but because I was curious about what brand/models he actually liked since he wasn't into JL etc.

Re: New audio setup! JL Audio
I'm a fan of laid back. I've been wanting to try morel but never got around to it. I'm with matt; being picky costs money :) But the bigger issue in cars is reflections. What you hear on the board isn't the same sound in the car. I've listened to a lot of speakers but a/d/s/ 320is & 325is have been my favorites. The real key to success is your installation. Using the speakers in the proper locations according to their response. Not all tweeters sound good in sails just as not all mid-ranges work well in kick panels. The goal is to match the right speaker properties to the right locations while keeping your "taste" in sound.
