    Hey guys,

    looking to wire remove the DRL diode and wire up the DRL as the fog lights.

    however, as per DRL circuit Re-route to fog lamps

    I cannot find the 1N400x diodes and have used google shopping, radioshack, 247components.com and still cannot find this part number.

    Does anybody know a suitable substitute or a place to get them?

    Look into any of the following: 1N4001-1N4007.

    everything I can find is only a 1 amp diode though :-\

    I need 1.5 amp right?

    You will be fine with any of those.
