are you talking about in the side reflectors?...i have an 02 gp se and mine doesnt have the lights in them either, no wires or nothing just the red lens case, i think its just on the gt's and gtp's that have those lights
the courtesy lights are under the dash, and i guess on some there on the doors, but not on mine, ill post pics of mine tomaro when theres light
GM decided around 2000 that all the cars didn't need door lights anymore. If you choose that you want them and are willing to do some work, you can have them.
I added them back into my 2000 Regal. Got the wiring from an earlier model, ran it through the factory door connector and tapped into the interior light circuit by the door sill plate.
If you go this far... maybe you want to add puddle lights as well? I did.![]()
have them in my car.
I'm working on this too. My 97 gtp sedan has courtesy lights in the front doors with a clear spot in the red and just the solid red lens without a bulb in the rear doors. I bought complete doors from a 97 gt for parts and they all just had the solid red lenses in all four doors with the plug in the front doors for a light but the lens housings are not set up to power bulbs. I'm planning on splicing the wiring together in the rear doors but I need to come up with lenses that have the provisions for bulbs or fab my own. Has anyone else done this?
