I have a 2007 Grand Prix GT SE with the monsoon stereo system.

I need to know two things, one is how to exchange the 6x9s in the back of my car. If there is a guy or any help that anyone could give me, it would be appreciated.

The reason I ask that is because I think one of them is making a weird noise, like it's too loose or that something gave way and whenever there is deep bass it flaps I guess?

Next thing is static that is coming from my head unit. I think it's the wiring that I did when I was installing my iPod adapter to the stock unit. It works great but do you think it will stop having static if I rewire it better and if so, what do you think would be the case?

Please any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you in advance.

too much low bass can cause the driver to attempt to move too far and then it will sound bad. Generally means mechanical limiting of the driver, which is not good.

That seems like a very logical conclusion.

I'd follow up with that if I were you.

Would you have any idea how to go ahead and installing the 6x9s? Do I need to take out the rear seat?

You need to remove the seat bottom, then the seat back, then remove the rear deck, and remove the speakers, if I'm not mistaken. Pain in the rear, so to speak.
