wiring help

I bought these for my Girlfriends G6, they didn't come with floor lights so i'm going to wire them up for her, any idea where i should get a power source from?

Well it is kinda jimmy rigged I guess you could say. I don't know about the G6 fuses but if they are like any new car they use mini fuses so you would have to go to the local car parts store or an electrical store and buy some Well it is kinda jimmy rigged I guess you could say. Then you will cut the male end so that the connector part of this is smaller so that it will fit into the fuse holder. If you need pics of this part let me know and I can go to my car and get what I am talking about and take a picture of it. For the ground it is more practical to get a ring terminal because then the whole of it will fit into the screw and fit securely between the screw and the frame.

Oh ya I should mention that even though it is Jimmy rigged you can still feel confident in it because I did this and my Dad approved of it. (Dad has been an electrician for almost 34 years so it is hard to get his approval on a job.)

ill look into it when i get the LEDs, i think i got it now, the ground is no problem.
as for the LED strip i just need a 12v source and a ground correct?

Yup it should be that way cause I'm assuming that the led strips have built in resistors. Just make sure to put in an in-line fuse so that if there is a short it will just blow the fuse. And to test the 12V source you can use a voltage meter or you can use something (can't remember the name) that has a light on top so that you know if there is current there or not. One thing to remember that some of those open slots only have power going to them when the car is on accesory or on completely or might be on all the time. The spot where I picked only has power to it when its on ac or completely on so that in case I forgot to switch the LEDs off I still wouldn't have a dead battery.
