Well I went out to my grand prix today and its December so i'm sure everyone knows its really cold outside. As i opened my car door and got inside I noticed a few cracks in my mirror that weren't there when i left it. The mirror had already lost its dimming abilities because the gel membrane inside has busted from the temperature. However i was still able to use the mirror, but now that its cracked a bunch i need a new one. I had researched into the company that built them for all vehicles not just the grand prix when the dimming feature stopped working the first time. It was a company called dollison and they had gone out of business because of the cheaply built product. I know this is a common issue on the mirror. There was a company out there where you could send your old mirror in and they would send you a refurbished model with a different auto dimming glass system for 75$. I cannot remember who it was or what the website was since i lost that website from the favorites listing on my old computer. If anyone knows what company it is or where i could get a replacement mirror that would hold up better that would be great

Okay i re did my research and found the company that does it. It is Sybesmas Electronics. However im still not sure if they will be able to repair my particular mirror since that have to send me a list of the mirrors that they can repair
