My two front door speakers fade in and out. Sometimes they work sometimes they dont. I can bump my driver side door and it sometimes comes on.

Bad wiring? Should i pop off the door panels and check the wiring? or am i looking at replacing my two speakers?

How hard is it to take off the door panels and put them back on?

    Thanks guys

Probably the connection at the speaker to remove the panel there are 2 screws by the handle then maybe two more under the window switches and the door reflector. Then the rest is just body clip.

I have an 04, but had the same issue with an aftermarket speaker in my driver's side door. Turned out to be a loose connection that eventually worked its way completely off the speaker terminal. I modified the connection to make sure it is firm, and the problem is solved. I'm not sure how much you can really do about the quality of the connection with the OEM plug on there, but you might be able to bypass/rewire it if your handy with a soldering iron.
