Anybody ever put 7" in the front doors? Any cutting needed or just a spacer? Any other issues? I've got some good quality 7" mids that I was going to put in my old car before it bit the dust and I bought my GXP. Found them on the shelf in the basement collecting dust and want to put them to use.

But it is. You can make anything fit if you build specifically for it instead of trying to re-use stock mounting. Besides, it'll cut down on rattles and help a lot with response. What's the Qtc?

I could fit slim 10's in the doors if i made a real box for them.

Box = best sound and no rattles.
