I just bought a Scosche wiring harness and it says I need a Scosche FAI-3A to use my factory amp with my Bose speakers, can anybody tell me if this is true or not. I have been searching the forum and could not find this previously asked.

Only if you have a stock head unit. And speaking from experience, I'd rather hear my radio stock than use Line-Out-Converters
I believe thats only needed if you plan on adding an aftermarket amplifier. It's basically a line out converter. But if you're installing an aftermarket radio, it should already have preouts. What wire harness did you get?
I bought the Scosche GMDA (yes I know there cheap but I have never had problems with them)
