    I have a 04 grand prix gt.... bare basic bones.... nothing special.

    I want to add the pioneer 4200 and I want to make sure this is the right harness for my car

    No, according to metra you would want this.

    Awesome.... then the only thing i will loose is the Date on the DIC right..... so with the radio, the harness that comes with the radio, and this it will be all hook straight up with no splicing or anything right?

    Actually that has a built in speaker..... doesn't go through the front speakers. Can i just use the one meant for on star or won't that work?
