Anyone know about this amp? It's Class D 500@2ohms. Question is... is it 1ohm stable? btw Manufacturers specs don't mean crap to me so I'm looking for personal experience with this amp. I bought 2 solobaric 10's and was hopeing to power those with this amp. Thanks fellas (and few gals)

    Hello,
I just had that amp installed in my car.
Its powering 2 kicker CompVR 12".
I'm very happy with it. It hits really hard.
Not sure about the 1ohm question.
    Hope it helps.

Most D-Blocks are designed to be 1ohm stable, as they're usually for competition purposes... If you're wondering about it, wire your subs up in series (1ohm) and see if they bump... the subs should be able to handle it, no problem, and if your amp ISN'T 1ohm stable, it'll more than likely go into protection mode (at least, mine always have). It's just a good idea to turn your gains and whatnot down before you rewire and test.... just to be safe

most top brand equipment is stable at 1 ohm, they won't advertise it as it makes people try 1/4 ohm, or other things that may kill it

Well it is 1ohm stable BUT not for long. Would be nice for competion but thats not what I was looking for. Underrated too. I bought a Kicker SX700.4 for the Squares. Now turning towards the HU.

Oh I loved those! the Orion HCCA (old series) Rocked also. We ran those .25ohm before w/o any problem. Ever seen Frankampenstine? Made by Phoenix gold and is 1/8 stable! that thing is sick.

Btw if I replace the HU will I have to bypass the factory amp or do they make a harness to work for the monsoon?
