Okay, all I want to do is play my iPod in my 07.

I have nav, so not even a cd changer.

    Hate FM transmitters.

    And no tape or AUX.

    Need. Help. PLEASE.

No idea if it'll work for your nav but this thing works great! Clear as day and beats any FM transmitter.

I still think its funny how they put an aux jack in the Buick Lucerne, but not the GXP.

Like some old timer is gonna use an iPod, let alone AM radio.

This is exactly what I did and I will tell you what I did wrong.

I don't know how the back of your Head Unit looks but there should be a 24 ping and a 12 pin. You need to tap into the 24 pin on the FATTER orange wire. I made the mistake of going through the yellow wire at first but I quickly knew I did something wrong. After that attach the grounds and everything. The module itself isn't long enough to go to the glove box so I slipped it right under my head unit and I can grab it and pull it down or just slip it back up from the passenger side. I took the iPod cable itself and ran it on the bottom left side of the carpet and plastic (very simple) and up to the container thing in the middle.

If you need pictures let me know!

Here is the cable I used to charge and hook up to the RCA.

Ipod Digital Cable Charger & 3 RCA out for Audio & Video

You need to tap into a power source and a ground. Also, I tapped into the ground for both of them on the bolt on the passenger frame by the feet.

If you have any questions at all let me know!

That means I have to tear apart my head unit :P. I'll do my best to describe everything I've done. I'll take some pics of the completed project (which isn't much) but I will try!

Yes it is and I don't think it'll work with the touch screen without some integration. All you do is go to XM and press seek up three times and once down and it plays through the ipod.

To garreTT: How come you just didn't get a new cd unit? For the same price you could have gotten a decent Kenwood or whatever brand with an aux unit.
