Isn't it better to have the tweets in the stock location, at or near ear level?
no idea, but im also not making custom mounts, thats just extra work for no reason
yea no, i wasnt gunna even touch the tweeters, the main door speakers are just rattly so they gotta go
yeah, mine were blown out too, i just got a cheap set. the reason i say to make sure to hook your tweeters back up is because you'll have to cut the wiring clip off re-tie and solder the tweeter wires to the other leads on your new speakers. i didn't do it at first, but ended up going back and doing it.
so basically leave the tweeters alone lol thats what i planned to do
