Ok I got a quick question, I have a bandpass box right now and I'm starting not to like it. The manufacturer says that the recommended enclosure should have a volume of 1.75 cubic inches. I cannot build a box at my place because of a lack of tools so I'm looking at boxes online. There's a box that I found that I like but its 2.5 cubic inches. So my question is would that work? Would it be louder or not. Oh and by the way my subs a JL audio 12W3v2's.

go custom.... and i guess follow the manuf's specs but if you think bandpass is bad, ported will be as well unless you go oversized box and tune low.

    OR go sealed...
