Ok, so I bought a Pioneer DEH-6200BT deck and had my uncle install it for me yesterday. I have a 99 grand prix gtp with the bose system. I bought the module so I could still use the steering wheel controls, but now I have NO heads up display. Nothing show up at all. I heard of losing your CD/Radio station info, I don't really care about that, I care about everything else. Anyone know how to fix this/what to do? Thanks in advance.

p.s. the mounting kit he used has my deck sticking out a rediculous amount, anyone know where i can get a flat mounting bracket from for a cheap price?

I hate to be that guy...but you need to look over his installation. HUD has nothing to do with the radio. Maybe he unplugged something in the dash when taking it apart?...anyways, that's odd.

I was going to say I put in a pioneer deck and only lost my steering wheel controls but I don't use them anyways. Sure you didn't maybe hit the dial and turn the brightness all the way down. Also make sure that you throw the position way out of wack when you had to pull the dash cover.

as far as the HU sticking out goes, there's a piece inside the dash directly behind the receiver that doesn't allow aftermarket units to sit flush. hack that boy out then you'll be able to take off the front piece of your mount and reinstall flush.
