So I just traded my amazing '96 Silverado Z71 for an equally if not more amazing '99 Grand Prix GTP. I just had to replace the A/C condenser clutch so far, but I digress.

It came with a Pioneer DEH-P4900IB installed. It has 2 AUX ports and an iBus connection. The only issue that I have with that is that the ports are located on the back of the unit. I've got the cords, but I'm not sure how to get them to the front so I could use them without doing any major altering to the dashboard I was hoping I could cut a hole out under the ash tray to run them out there so they can chill in the little cubby hole in front of the shifter. Any more ideas on how I could do it easier, please let me know.

You dont need a hole, just route them to the right side of the ashtray there IS a hole you can get them through.

I have both my AUX mini stereo jack and Ipod cable going through there. no modification required.
