but no rear seats haha.
Yeah I need my rear seats also lol but I'm good with what I got right now, either way I shouldn't expect it to be too loud with what I got. Now I wanna get some W7's, my friend has one in his Denali and it sounds amazing.
Get LMS-R's instead.
yup
Take a look at fi, me and my biddy got some new toys from them the other day... they rock!
Indeed Fi's are awesome, but they dont get over 30 MM of Xmax nor would they do it as cleanly as an LMS motor/coil setup would.
The lms-r's look like a really good sub, decently priced too...
power acoustik lfa1-5500D sound good?
Power Acoustik LFA1-5500D (lfa15500d) - Monoblock Car Amplifier, Power Amp - Sonic Electronix
If you want a better amp, be prepared to pay for it.
Sundowns are good, but overpriced.
Sounds good but thats not gonna happen anytime soon just trying to see what the prices will be so I can set up a Bass Fund haha. Oh and also I think my subs are 500w each and I was wondering if i could hook up a bigger amp because I'm pretty sure I can get more sound out of the speakers. I was thinking maybe a 1000w would be good.
no probably not, if you're kinda new to subs, you might be inclined to blow them up.
If you're not using them for their purpose...they're over priced. Most of that price goes into the Korean manufacturing. I believe he has "popular" models made in China too. Those tend to be his cheaper line ups. SAX and SAZ are Korean. SAE was China made and the low end version of SAZ. He had looked into a "China" version of SAX as well. I guess it didn't pan out.
The SAE's were known for putting up MUCH more power than rated; ~1500watts I think? However, they weren't "bullet proof" per say like SAZ. Meaning, they couldn't take the same abuse in those SPL comps with .5 ohm ratings n' such.
For those prices I almost expect no electrolytic caps and assembled in the US....
But hey, there is no "pro audio" world that we can "borrow" things from like the home audio world.
I put my amp in a new place I'll put up pics of it tomorow, I just got done with it. For this being my first time at it I think it came out pretty good.
Well I need a new amp now the one I had is fried up so I will be getting a new one. The thing gave out for no reason so thats a bummer. But I got another question, would these Cadence CVLW69 be any good in the rear?
Buy some 0 gauge wire off amazon. its like $35. and it will come with the ground and remote wire. when you run the remote at the back of the head unit there will be a blue wire with a white stripe, connect it to remote wire. And when you run the power cable there is a spot infront of passenger seat to get through firewall.
My pesonal favorites even though it may be a little high in Price are Hertz. Really nice sound quality
