I know what I'm gonna do and it pricey , get a navigation head unit . Then you get everything that the stereo has plus navigation and it has a mp3 jack , plus it has a hard drive , so you save stuff from the ipod to the head unit and you have steering wheel control.

I have never seen a head unit with a hard drive. Ever.

All search results have yielded nothing of which you described. The best I found is a head unit with small internal flash storage and a USB port, neither of which is an internal hard drive. Link or I call BS lol.

EDIT: I found ONE. But it's discontinued...

I can haz editz. But seriously I still think 10 or even 30gb (highest I've seen) is a ripoff -- much better to just mount a large 2.5" form factor external hard drive behind the head unit and use it with the USB port.

40 might as well be 30 lol. I for one would never go under 250gb if going with a hard drive. Price per gig is so low these days, why the hell not? I mean for like $30 more you can more than quadruple hard drive space in a lot of cases.
