I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT. It came with a standard steering wheel. I'm looking to replace it with one that has the radio controls. I did it with my 94 Grand Prix SE, and it was just a matter of swapping the steering wheel and clockspring and wiring it up to the block under the steering column. Is the procedure the same for my 03?
    Any thoughts?

its just replacing the harness then mounting the RF transmitter probably around your centre console so the HU can pick up the signal.

Did the swap. Was pretty easy. Swapped steering wheel and clockspring. Already had the harness to plug into under the steering column!
Now waiting for my PACSWI-PS and Humount to arrive. Will post pics when done!

Finished the interior setup. Installed steering wheel, clockspring, wired to factory plug under kickpanel.

Original setup with aftermarket head unit (Pioneer DEH-P5100UB) and generic mount.

    Humount installed.

    Big Red.

Does it still stick out like a fat pig with the HUMount? I'm guessing not, but hard to tell with the cool night pic.

I figured it out...gotta use a puller in order to get the wheel off. then the clockspring comes out.
