hey guys saw that a few of y'all had the humount. didn't even there was even amount like that til i saw em on here. i really like how that it fits in flush and looks loads better than the mount that crutchfield sends you. just got a couple questions about it.
    1. with it the head unit sitting flush like that are you gonna run into any clearance issues behind the head unit?
    2. with the mounts that are illuminated, the illumination wire coming off of the mount does it tie into the illumination wire on you head unit harness or does it tie in somewhere else. i'm thinking you can just tap into the head unit harness without any issues.

oh by the way for to be better informed my head unit is the alpine 9885 model.
1998 Grand Prix GTP Stock for now mods to come soon. Alpine 9885 head unit, 2 JLW3V2 10s, 2 Jensen 650x2 amps, and Tsunami wiring all the way around.

    1. yes, there is a small bracket u have to modify behind the headlight, i beleieve the website shows u which bracket (this is the 92-03 mount link, u can click on the instructions and see how u install...) HUmount.com
    2. u can tie the wire into any power lead for lights, either the light switch, or the light wire on the hu itself...
