So I've been lurking around the forums for a couple days and had a couple questions about stuff.

First off I've got a 2007 GP with XM and the 6 disc changer, but no monsoon or Bose. If i replace the head unit with an aftermarket one, and also use the GMOS-04 what all will I lose? (DIC, steering wheel controls)

I was also thinking about swapping out the four speakers for some better amplified ones, and also some separate subs. If i use the GMOS-04 will it use up the preamp outputs and complicate adding these?

    Thanks for any answers

i'd go with whatever an audio shop says on the harness. newer model vehicles need the newer model harnesses to function correctly. I know for sure you will lose door chimes and steering wheel controls using an older harness.
