Hey guys I am looking at buying a 2004 pontiac grand prix. I was just wondering how hard the wiring for a new head unit would be. I plan on installing a pioneer 3200dvd system with a sub/amp in the back. Not sure if the car has the monsoon sound system or not. I have installed stereo systems in my previous 90's Pontiac's before without much problems but this one looks much harder. I already know i will need several adapters to make everything work like the GMOS-04 GM so i don't lose my chimes and on-star etc and i will need a separate adapter if i want to keep steering wheel control functionality. My question is it hard to wire these? Is there enough room in the dash for all these boxes and adapters as my 1997 grand am is packed as tight as possibly. The one wire that makes me worried is the green wire that has to go to your parking brake or something. Is that a hard wire to find? Also if i went down to my local best buy and had them install it would there be a lot of extra/ hidden costs with this install if i supplied all the adapters and cables etc as there website shows $99 for a audio/video install but does that include the steering wheel controls etc.

Any tips and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Guys
